Crafting Our Ideal Client Profile

Let's think about these characteristics:

Characteristic Area Prompts / What to Consider
Demographics (Basic) Individuals vs. Businesses? Age range? Location (KL focus)? Industry type (for businesses)?
Legal Needs What specific legal problems do they typically face within our practice areas (Litigation, Conveyancing, future areas)? Are their matters complex or straightforward?
Psychographics (Values) What's important to them (e.g., clarity, speed, cost-effectiveness, hand-holding, trust, long-term relationship)? Do their values align with ours?
Communication Style How do they prefer to communicate (email, phone, meetings)? Are they responsive? Do they provide information promptly?
Decision Making Are they decisive? Do they trust professional advice?
"Good Fit" Factors What makes a client a pleasure to work with? What factors lead to a smooth and successful engagement from our perspective? (e.g., Respectful, realistic).
"Red Flags" Conversely, what characteristics often signal a potentially difficult or unsuitable client for our firm?
